Our story

Founded in 1997, DITS (Darwin Inspection and Testing Service) was established in Darwin to service the Territory in areas of Inspection & Testing.  The steady growth of our business means we now are positioned to offer our services through out Australia, South East Asia (ASEAN) and Australasia. 

We are still DITS but have dropped the Darwin to reflect this expansion of our services. The Mining, Oil & Gas and Engineering Industry, are still our main focus.

NDT - non-destructive testing is still the major component of our core business, but as we have grown so have our Inspection, Integrity Management and Risk Management Services.  We have also established a partnership with Quadsonics enabling us to offer Advanced Inspection Systems as well.

We are committed to offering the best service to our clients ensuring protection against risks and their associated liabilities. Our team of management and technicians are suitably experienced and qualified allowing us to deliver a professional service which meet the needs of our clients.

DITS has no manufacturing, trading or financial interests which could compromise our independence.  Our guarantee of independence, our reputation for professionalism, integrity and impartiality, place us in a unique position in the regions we service.

• is a a Quality Endorsed Company and is accredited to the Quality Management System Standard - AS/NZ; ISO9001:2000 with Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited;
• has American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Certificate of Service Approval;
• has Det Norske Veritas Approval for Ship Survey ;
• is a Lloyds Register Approved Service Provider of Thickness Measurements of Hull Structure;
• is a NATA Accredited Laboratory;
• has Civil Aviation Safety Authority Certification for the maintenance and testing of Class A & Class B Aircraft.
